My journey to becoming a licensed driver actually began at a different driving school. Then, after failing the Road Test I quickly realized that I needed a more focused level of instruction tailored to my specific needs, in order to get to the next level and become the great driver I had potential to be. Thankfully I found Revolution and Shannon, my instructor. Shannon is an outstanding teacher, he fully invested in my journey and orchestrated a lesson program over several weeks that ensured I succeeded on my next Road Test attempt. Shannon is the right balance of critical and considerate; he genuinely wanted to see me to improve and succeed over time. I would recommend Shannon to any aspiring driving student, he will be more than helpful to you no matter what your level of experience is. You will thrive under his instruction as long as you are receptive to his teaching methods, respectful of his vehicle, and his time. I would also like to shoutout the ladies at the 32nd St. office who always took my calls, worked with me on the pricing, assisted in scheduling, and were the most professional staff every step of the way. I did my driving classes with Erika in Brooklyn. Without a doubt I’d say Erika is one of the kindest souls out there. She teaches you how to drive in the right way!!! Her tactics, her way, it’s like no other. She made me feel comfortable, confident and calm at all times. When you make a mistake, she makes you learn from it and then she challenges you back until that mistake isn’t a mistake anymore. She makes sure you don’t make the same mistakes. She really prepares you in the best way I’ve ever seen. And the most important part is that she’s kind, sweet, funny and always makes sure you have a good time learning. She’s such a friendly person. I could not recommend a person more than her. Also, there’s a receptionist named Princess, she’s just incredible. Erika and I would talk about how amazing she is. She’s patient. If you have a problem she will try her best and help you no matter what. I had a great experience with them. Erika is someone I am so grateful for!! She’s the best :)!

I cannot recommend Revolution Driving School and my teacher Erika at the Brooklyn location enough. I walked by the RDS office for so many years until I finally worked up the courage to call them and schedule a lesson. I was lucky to have picked Erika as my instructor and she not only helped me through my fears but she believed in me. After working with her regularly for three months I was able to try new obstacles, learn new skills, and pass my test on the first try. If you are scared or nervous about driving try Revolution Driving School I promise it will change your life!

I took my classes at the Long Island City location with Diego and he was amazing. From my very first lesson to passing my road test on the first attempt was only 6 weeks! I could never get parallel parking before, but Diego showed me such an easy way and I ended up doing it perfectly on the test. After failing the road test four times, I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have met Antonio. I took a 3-hour lesson with him, and he immediately identified the areas I needed to improve. We practiced those parts over and over until I got them right. He focused specifically on my weaknesses, helping me really understand what I was doing wrong. I learned so much from him—especially how to do parallel parking properly, and the different types of stop signs, which I hadn’t fully understood before. His lessons were completely different from the ones I had before—more detailed, more tailored, and truly professional. Had the best experience with Antonio at their LIC pickup location ! This is my 3rd driving school in NYC and this is the best driving school that I've had the pleasure of doing business with -- seriously the competition isn't even close. I failed my first driving test with a previous driving school but in three 60-minutes lessons, Antonio was able to get me comfortable enough to pass my road test at the Ridgewood location. I seriously can't recommend this place enough as they're on top of everything; all the booking and communication was handled very seamlessly. Antonio himself was a great instructor. He was always on time and gave great tips -- very efficient. The last thing that I really appreciated was that this school really makes me feel like you get the dedicated attention that you deserve and paid for. Other driving schools have always cut my lessons short by a substantial amount in order to get back and see another student but with Antonio I feel like I basically got the full time of my lessons. Other schools also take you to your road test in a big group of 3-5 other students but with Revolution it was a 1:1 session with me and Antonio where I could ask him all of my last-minute questions before the actual road test. Can't recommend enough! Happy to finally have my license ??

You also have the option to book your own lessons online after creating an account. This school offers discounts throughout the year so check out their website. Since this is one of the best driving schools in NYC, the instructors and the admins get very busy so the sooner you reach out to them the better!

I had some driving experience a few years ago, and this year I took seven classes with Revolution Driving School. I had lessons with Diego in Queens and Shannon in Manhattan and they are both great instructors. I personally learn better when I receive feedback, and both instructors made it clear on what I am doing well, what I need to improve on, and more importantly, HOW I can be a better driver. They gave simple and effective demonstrations for turning, parking, 3 point turns, and everything that is covered on the road test, and I feel that I was well prepared to drive safely in NYC. With their guidance I passed my road test on the first try! I am very thankful and I plan on taking one more lesson to learn how to drive on the highway. Shannon is an incredible teacher. He has a unique teaching style that will get your driving in top shape. I had a wonderful experience at Revolution driving school. I did my classes at the one located in Brooklyn (261 13th street). Firstly, scheduling the courses was very easy. The receptionist, Deborah, was lovely and always helped me with picking the best dates and times that would suit my busy schedule. Often I would have to switch dates, but as long as it's done before the 24 hours, she was always super helpful. She was very nice and polite, definitely a lovely person to speak to either on the phone or via text. I had several drivers at the school, but the two that stuck out the most were Lyndberg and Erika. Lyndberg really helped me relax a lot and since he's a mathy / sciency guy, much like me, it was a much easier connection to measure and calculate turning and parking. He was very chill, but also very particular in what he wanted from me. Our personalities meshed very well, so he was the first person that made me very relaxed to drive. After Lyndberg, I had Erika. I absolutely loved her. She's a phenomenal instructor and she definitely knows what she's doing. After having her once, I switched all my classes to her. She's super encouraging and she's definitely a huge part of why I passed my exam. She teaches you EVERYTHING and more, and makes you very comfortable when driving, even when you may make a little mistake. She is a very sweet woman and definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to learn to drive with ease and confidence. Lovely driving school, I got my license after doing a package of 10 lessons (I never been behind a car before), and then 1 extra lesson before my test. All of it was super worth it because I got my license in one test!

I took the 5h road test package with Revolution Driving School. They made it so easy, from registration with office to road test appointment, this experience was great. I had my 5h lessons in Queens with Diego. Diego was an outstanding instructor, he made you feel so comfortable behind the wheel. Is knowledge is incredible, and he gives you the best tips for the road test. He is extremely patient and cheerful. Diego make you gain confidence in your driving, perfect your skills, and give you guidance for the road test. He went above and beyond to give you the best driving skills and make sure you pass your test successfully. And it worked! I had wonderful 5h training lesson with Diego. Diego is a 5 stars instructor, and I would recommend him to everyone that want a stress-free experience, learn safe and confident driving skill as well as get ready for your road test. Just passed my road test today. I highly recommend Revolution Driving School in Queens. Diego was an excellent instructor. Very calm and informative. I learned a lot in a short amount of time and was more than ready for my road test. I'll be taking more classes with Diego to increase my driving skills on highways.

I had a great experience! I bought 3 practices and road test package. Everything went so smoothly. My instructor Antonio was very experienced, patient and friendly! Thanks to him I am confident enough at the road test, and I could pass at my first time. All scheduling with admin team was efficient as well. Totally recommended??????

OMG !! i took 2 lesson from Jhesson and 2 lessons + road test from Shannon. Both of them amazing instructors and bringing up different skills in you I can’t thank enough to Shannon and Jhesson !!!! Today i passed my exam by learning tricks and tips from Shannon. He is amazinggggg by busting confidence and paying attention details, explaining all the importance of driving. With last 2 lesson i learned all tricks and passed the exam, I think without knowing all the things he thought me i would fail! He is so so so nice to chat with and meantime comforting. I seriously learned so many tricks and details from him that was make overcome my stress and fair ?? I can’t appreciate him enough Also, I took my first 2 driving lesson from Jhesson. I am so shocked and impressed by his teaching skills. He gave me full confidence. Before him my entire body was shaking cuz i was so scared and the same day i am 90% better already because of him. I would give 10+ stars but 5 is a limit. I came to Revolution after one failed RT and a few unpleasant experiences with different schools. Thanks to Princess logistics and scheduling was peace of mind. Special THANKS to Jhesson, the best driving teacher you can wish for. He's not only taught me the technique but gave me confidence and overall fun experience in driving. Passed the test from the first attempt after just a couple of lessons with Jhesson.
