Christopher is a great instructor. Super calm, chill guy. He gives cues that are easy to remember, easy to follow and will fix any challenges you have parallel parking or navigating these mean streets of New York. He chooses a route that is safe and easy for beginners but can also give those with a bit more experience a solid refresher. Plus the pickup locations are convenient and close to mass transit. Appreciate him and Revolution!

One of the instructors, Aaron, showed me parallel parking system that totally saved me on the road test. I learned it through our lesson on the day of the road test and was able to parallel park with 0 points deducted. Previously my parallel parks were road test ready like 1/3 of the time so shoutout Aaron.

My first lesson went really well! I got my license about 2.5 years ago, but I hadn’t driven since then. Christopher first took the time to understand my current driving level and adjusted his instruction based on what I needed to practice the most. Throughout the lesson, he gave clear and helpful guidance. At the end, he went over what I did well and pointed out the areas I need to improve, which I really appreciated. I can’t recommend Revolution Driving School enough! Came in as a brand new driver at the age of 33 and was very nervous behind the wheel, but Jhesson is an excellent instructor and helped me pass my road test on the first try! He’s extremely thorough and invested in your progress, is also timely to each lesson (or will let you know if he’s running late due to traffic) and does a good job of explaining something new to you then letting you try on your own. Nothing but good vibes from him too.
The office staff were very nice and helpful every time, and they made the entire process of getting my license a breeze - if you purchase a package they make it clear how to do the pre-licensing course, what forms to sign and complete, they cover all the details for car rental and road test appointment. Outside of scheduling my lessons, I didn’t have to worry about a single logistic.
The only improvement would be if they could hire more instructors - Jhesson and the other instructors are often booked up literally a month out, which means you can only book your own sessions a month out (unless there are one-off cancelations), which makes personal planning difficult. Would love to see more instructors so there’s more availability. But overall I highly recommend this company and will now move on to taking highway lessons :)
