I definitely would recommend this Driving School. My instructor Erika from the Brooklyn location was AWESOME!!! I am a teen and first time behind the wheel. She was very patient, calm and professional instructor who I felt very comfortable with. She taught me step by step the important skills to pass my road test on the first try. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone who want to learn how to drive and if your in Brooklyn definitely request Ms. Ericka.

After failing my road test 3 times with 3 different instructors at different driving schools (all in Brooklyn), Revolution Driving School was my last hope — and they completely came through. Erika is hands down the best instructor I’ve ever had. She is incredibly patient, fully focused during every lesson, and helped me identify and fix my mistakes in real time. That kind of attentive teaching made all the difference. What also sets Revolution apart is how organized they are. No unexpected schedule changes, no late arrivals — just reliable, professional communication every step of the way. I’ve never seen a driving school run this smoothly. I finally passed my road test, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without Erika and this school. I just passed my road test, and I couldn't have done it without Revolution Driving School! If you’re looking for a school that actually cares about your success, this is it. Their customer service is top-tier. Unlike other places where you’re chasing them for info, they are incredibly responsive. Anytime I called, I got a call back quickly. Whether I had a scheduling question or just needed general help, they were always more than happy to assist. It’s been a consistently positive experience from day one. The instructors here, specifically Diego and Jhesson, are phenomenal. I want to give a special shout-out to Jhesson, who was a total game-changer for me. He is such an easy instructor to learn from. He helped me build my confidence so I went from nervous to feeling totally in control, he helped me improve on the technicals such as parallel parking, and he helped me improve my eye skills by teaching me exactly how to scan the road and stay aware of my surroundings. If you want to pass your test and actually feel safe behind the wheel, ask for Jhesson.

He made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and really helped build my confidence. The LIC pickup location is super convenient and very easy to get to by subway or bus, which made scheduling lessons so much easier. The front office staff also deserves a big shoutout—they’re all so friendly, responsive, and patient. Every time I had questions, they took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. Overall, Revolution Driving School is well-organized, supportive, and truly cares about their students. Shannon is an outstanding teacher, he fully invested in my journey and orchestrated a lesson program over several weeks that ensured I succeeded on my next Road Test attempt. I did my driving classes with Erika in Brooklyn. Without a doubt I’d say Erika is one of the kindest souls out there. She teaches you how to drive in the right way!!! Her tactics, her way, it’s like no other. She made me feel comfortable, confident and calm at all times. When you make a mistake, she makes you learn from it and then she challenges you back until that mistake isn’t a mistake anymore. She makes sure you don’t make the same mistakes. She really prepares you in the best way I’ve ever seen. And the most important part is that she’s kind, sweet, funny and always makes sure you have a good time learning. She’s such a friendly person. I could not recommend a person more than her. Also, there’s a receptionist named Princess, she’s just incredible. Erika and I would talk about how amazing she is. She’s patient. If you have a problem she will try her best and help you no matter what. I had a great experience with them. Erika is someone I am so grateful for!! She’s the best :)!

I cannot recommend Revolution Driving School and my teacher Erika at the Brooklyn location enough. I walked by the RDS office for so many years until I finally worked up the courage to call them and schedule a lesson. I was lucky to have picked Erika as my instructor and she not only helped me through my fears but she believed in me. After working with her regularly for three months I was able to try new obstacles, learn new skills, and pass my test on the first try. If you are scared or nervous about driving try Revolution Driving School I promise it will change your life!

I took my classes at the Long Island City location with Diego and he was amazing. From my very first lesson to passing my road test on the first attempt was only 6 weeks! I could never get parallel parking before, but Diego showed me such an easy way and I ended up doing it perfectly on the test. As many have already mentioned, his patience, knowledge, and guidance are unparalleled - as a driving instructor, you'd be in no better hands (esp if you're learning in UES) But what I feel truly sets him apart is how fun our time together was. It's the carpool karaoke for me, definitely the determining factor in getting my license in just 10 classes ?? After failing the road test four times, I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have met Antonio. I took a 3-hour lesson with him, and he immediately identified the areas I needed to improve. We practiced those parts over and over until I got them right. He focused specifically on my weaknesses, helping me really understand what I was doing wrong. I learned so much from him—especially how to do parallel parking properly, and the different types of stop signs, which I hadn’t fully understood before. His lessons were completely different from the ones I had before—more detailed, more tailored, and truly professional. Had the best experience with Antonio at their LIC pickup location ! This is my 3rd driving school in NYC and this is the best driving school that I've had the pleasure of doing business with -- seriously the competition isn't even close. I failed my first driving test with a previous driving school but in three 60-minutes lessons, Antonio was able to get me comfortable enough to pass my road test at the Ridgewood location. I seriously can't recommend this place enough as they're on top of everything; all the booking and communication was handled very seamlessly. Antonio himself was a great instructor. He was always on time and gave great tips -- very efficient. The last thing that I really appreciated was that this school really makes me feel like you get the dedicated attention that you deserve and paid for. Other driving schools have always cut my lessons short by a substantial amount in order to get back and see another student but with Antonio I feel like I basically got the full time of my lessons. Other schools also take you to your road test in a big group of 3-5 other students but with Revolution it was a 1:1 session with me and Antonio where I could ask him all of my last-minute questions before the actual road test. Can't recommend enough! Happy to finally have my license ??

An enjoyable pre-test (March 17th) lesson with Steven. I'm a UK license holder needing to get my US license. I passed my test in the UK over 20 years ago so needed help to get me through a US test. Steven gave expert advice and encouragement. Great job Steven...I passed!

I'm so glad I chose Revolution for my driving school. Diego was a great instructor – patient, kind, talking through all the steps and what we would do each lesson. I was a completely new driver and after 10 lessons which included a mock test with Diego, he said I'm ready to take road test. I passed my DMV road test on my first try! The admin staff also have been super helpful in finding lesson times that suit my schedule. Thank you!

I'm so grateful for having had Jhesson as my driving instructor. I passed my road test on my first try with this school after taking classes with him! He's knowledgeable, respectful, and patient. He's an amazing instructor and genuinely cares about his students and their progress. He has excellent communication skills, knows exactly what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. His balanced personality between being serious and light-hearted helps you feel at ease, especially if/when you're nervous behind the wheel. He adapts to each person and their needs, and makes them a better, safer, and more confident driver. I couldn't have gotten my driver license without Jhesson so I highly recommend him. Last but not least, Princess and Erika were incredibly helpful, kind, and patient when scheduling my lessons, the 5-hour pre-licensing exam (available online and in-person), and the road test. They're available in-person, through call, text, and email! They even send you lesson reminder texts and confirmation emails. You also have the option to book your own lessons online after creating an account. This school offers discounts throughout the year so check out their website. Since this is one of the best driving schools in NYC, the instructors and the admins get very busy so the sooner you reach out to them the better!

I had some driving experience a few years ago, and this year I took seven classes with Revolution Driving School. I had lessons with Diego in Queens and Shannon in Manhattan and they are both great instructors. I personally learn better when I receive feedback, and both instructors made it clear on what I am doing well, what I need to improve on, and more importantly, HOW I can be a better driver. They gave simple and effective demonstrations for turning, parking, 3 point turns, and everything that is covered on the road test, and I feel that I was well prepared to drive safely in NYC. With their guidance I passed my road test on the first try! I am very thankful and I plan on taking one more lesson to learn how to drive on the highway. I recommend this school and I can recommend Diego and Shannon.
